As an integrative adult psychotherapist and counsellor I am trained to help with a wide range of mental and emotional difficulties, and to meet the unique and evolving needs of the individual.
I am influenced by transpersonal, Jungian, person-centred, energy psychology and complex trauma perspectives. In my work I aim to offer opportunities for solace, reflection, exploration, imagination and creativity as pathways toward healing.
I completed my 4-year professional psychotherapy diploma training with the Centre for Counselling & Psychotherapy Education, London, in 2013 and have been an accredited member of the UKCP since 2015. I have several years’ experience with the NHS, including as a one to one therapist and a group facilitator, and have also worked as a Senior Psychological Therapist for Mind, the mental health charity. I am an experienced and fully trained Mindfulness group leader, and a qualified practitioner of IPT and ACT; all three approaches are NICE-approved and included in the guidelines for evidence-based practice in the NHS.
I have a special interest in the spiritual dimensions of life and therapy, and have undertaken a number of years’ post-qualification training in working with the guidance of dreams, and recently graduated from a 2-year Advanced Diploma in Transpersonal Psychotherapy.
I am on the training staff at CCPE assessing work for their professional diploma. Otherwise, I work full time in private practice.
If you are interested in a first meeting to discuss your needs from therapy and whether I might be able to help, I offer a free initial phone/zoom call.
You are welcome to contact me.
